General Manager

The General Manager is responsible to manage property operations on a day to day basis of a single property to assure optimum performance and continual improvement. Coordinates, directs and manages the staff and everyday resort operations to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining standards set by the company. It is his/her responsibility to ensure that all members of the staff are properly organized and that every part of the resort runs according to the pre-established quality standard of service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations of the retreat
  • Design and implement retreat’s operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Handling complaints, and overseeing the service procedures.
  • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the retreat's annual operating budget, and marketing & sales plan.
  • Developing improvement actions
  • Maximizing room yield and retreats’ revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.
  • Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential equipment and services.
  • Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.

Qualification

  • A university degree in hotel management or a related field with experience in opening or managing a retreat.

Experience

  • At least 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience, including experience in remote locations.

Ayurveda Therapist

An ayurvedic practitioner uses holistic techniques to help patients maintain a healthy life, eliminate impurities, build immunity and reduce stress. Through observations, massages and relaxation techniques, you should be able to focus on the entire well-being of the patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Ayurveda therapies as planned and scheduled by an Ayurveda doctor.
  • Adhere to therapy protocol set by the retreat.
  • Prepare a therapy room with necessary equipment, oils, herbs, etc.
  • Participate in professional development programs

Qualification

  • You should have a degree/diploma/certificate program in ayurvedic therapies
  • Proficient in English (oral)
  • You should be compassionate, dedicated and grounded individual

Front desk staff/executive

We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors/guests and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate should have a friendly and easy going personality, while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Assist guests during check-in and retreat orientation
  • Answer questions and address complaints
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
  • Check, sort and forward emails
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Keep updated records and files
  • Monitor office expenses and costs
  • Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)
  • Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper, emergency use kit, first aid kit etc.)

Qualification

  • Degree/Certificate in any area (preferably Hotel Management)
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, or relevant position
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, scanner etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient with basic ICT skills (especially GSuite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation

Housekeeping Staff

Housekeepers handle light cleaning needed for the upkeep of rooms, common areas, offices etc. Typically they'll replace bedding, clean rooms, halls and bathrooms, vacuum, sweep, mop, replace toiletries and make beds.
We are looking to hire a housekeeper to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift moderately heavy items and have an eye for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained
  • Vacuum, Sweep and mop floors
  • Clean and stack restrooms
  • Notify managers of necessary repairs.
  • Collect and Dispose of trash
  • Assist guests when necessary
  • Keep linen room stocked
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture

Qualification

  • Ability to manage your time efficiently
  • Work well unsupervised
  • Handle basic maintenance and cleaning
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • Interact positively with hotel guests
